Worked Example

Question:Considering the difference between weather and climate, come up with at least one example for each of the following: a. weather change, and b. climate change.

  1. Weather change: A sunny day in London suddenly becomes dark and stormy (short-term change in conditions).
  2. Climate change: 50 years ago in central Alberta, Canada, winters came with huge piles of snow. For the last 20-30 years, this region has not experienced frequent heavy snowfalls in winter (long-term change in average conditions).
